In the morning the speakers included Dr. Rajeshwari who spoke on Current Issues in Diagnosis & Management of TB from a public health point of view, Dr. Sowmya who spoke on Managing TB in Children, Dr. Nalini Krishnan also spoke on the occasion. This was followed by panel discussion.

Health Survey

April, 2009

A Survey was conducted by Omayal Achi College of Nursing covering Irumbanthangal and 10 neighbourhood villages. It was a screening survey for the prevalence of respiratory diseases in some villages in Kanchipuram district. 3889 residents were questioned and examined for various diseases and a database developed for their health care.
